How-To Guide

Build partnerships with
local trade allies and
energy-efficiency programs.

Getting Started:

You are not alone. Organizations in many areas of the U.S. and Canada are already delivering motor management to customers. These include energy-efficiency programs, motor sales and service centers, motor manufacturers, trade organizations and others. Leverage the work of these organizations by reaching out to them. Initiate conversation and start to work collaboratively to meet common goals.

Tips:

  • Contact your local utility or state energy office to inquire about energy-efficiency programs in your area. CEE's Summary of Energy-Efficiency Programs for Motor & Drives is another source of information.

  • Look at past and upcoming Spotlight Calls to see whether one features an energy-efficiency program in your area.

  • Find a sales & service center in your area using EASA's searchable "Find a Member" database.

  • Contact one of the motor manufacturing companies or other sponsors of the MDM campaign.
